Jovy Villarosa, fondly known as “Mommy Jovy,” has been an integral part of Quantrics since 2016. Her career journey is a testament to resilience and finding one’s way back to a beloved role. After dedicating 30 years as an executive assistant at Jollibee Foods Corporation and ABS-CBN, Jovy took early retirement to care for her ailing mother. However, at the age of 50, she re-entered the workforce in a BPO company. The experience made her realize just how much she missed her previous role as an executive assistant.
When she learned about a new BPO company opening near her home in Taytay, Jovy saw an opportunity to return to her passion. She applied with her daughter, and to her surprise, she was hired as an executive assistant—a role she cherished. Eight years later, Jovy continues to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Operations at Quantrics, earning her the title of the original “Mommy” of the company.
Throughout her time at Quantrics, Jovy has embraced diverse roles, from managing event registrations to organizing focus group discussions and town halls. She relishes the opportunity to meet new people and reconnect with old friends, making these tasks her favorite part of the job.
One of the highlights of her career is being able to work alongside her two daughters, who have since joined Quantrics as well. “It’s a blessing to be with them 24/7 as officemates,” Jovy shared, expressing her deep gratitude to Quantrics for providing for her family.
When asked for advice for new employees, Jovy emphasized the importance of treating Quantrics like a second home. “Stay loyal, be humble and respectful, listen and follow guidance, and steer clear of negativity,” she advised. Her warmth and familial approach have made her a beloved figure at Quantrics, and her journey serves as an inspiration to all.
As Jovy celebrates her 8th year at Quantrics this September, her story continues to inspire others with its message of loyalty, resilience, and the importance of family.
